We were stranded in Oban for 2 nights due to landslides & flooding. Finding accommodation was nigh on impossible, but we found here. Ann, the owner, was just so wonderful, an amazing character, very friendly & full of life. The room was big enough, a comfortable large bed, a good shower, clean & the most gorgeous view. If you have to be stuck anywhere, then The Palace Hotel is the place to be!

We had a late check in and the gentleman at the desk was very accommodating. He perceived our needs and met them before we even asked. The room was spacious, clean and well decorated, and the location is a 10/10 in Oban. 100% recommended.

Room clean and tidy. Bed comfortable, nicely refurbished bathroom. Hotel is in excellent location, right middle of the town. No car park for the guests.

Superb service and one of the best sea views in Oban from room 14.
Paid for room just as we went into lock down 2019, kept rolling until now without any issues.
